FUEL FILTER CLOG Warning-
This was reported at 09 occasions on our A320 fleet which was involved in Delay and even in groundings.
Five cases on A320 fleet,02 cases on A319 and and 02 cases on A321.
In all this cases, snag was rectified by replacing the fuel filter.
We would have been avoided few delays by placing Fuel filters on station like SHJ/ DXB/MCT though it is always better to comply the job of fuel sampling etc meticulously on our fleet as per approved schedule and TCs.
If not; earlier procedure of placing Filter in Hatrack may consider to be adopted.
