Visualise the beauty of our campus as below:-
Imagine above as flying birds
Imagine as a map of India
Each flowers in this pot symbolises of a family who are though separately placed but in totality wore the same behaviour and characteristics.
In the event of crisis, they unite
to face any external threats jointly and recent pandemic covid-19 is no different and a live example of its habitants who exhibit an exemplary disciplines to remain locked in home in both phases of Lockdown 1 and Lockdown 2.
Compassion, gratitude and kindness are another characteristics of these set of flowers which they ensure to fulfill the need of everyone who are attached with(eg maids, gardeners,Guards, sweepers and labourers).
In the recent event of deadly pandemic, they come forward thrice to donate for this cause to the poorest section of society.
More than 90% families are hiding themselves and staying in like a house arrest.
Visitors just looking at closed door
Doors are closed for visitors
They are afraid of Corona carriers and looking at everyone with suspicion.Sometimes I found them avoiding to interact even on mobile that results in communication gap amongst many families who were once together prior to lockdown.
All we need to know and be careful about is depicted below:-
Work from home is a new ways of attending offices and going to be a reality in days to come where most of the works are going to be accomplished from home itself.
Meetings are held online using various apps like ZOOM,SKYPE,Google Duo and Whatsapp video call etc
Same technique of video chat may be used to connect families and friends who are feeling alone and insecure in LOCKDOWN.We must often use of this technique to be in touch with your relatives and friends which neither violet social distancing nor have any fear of Covid 19 carriers.
Observing precautions to protect themselves are must and necessary but being in suspicion with everyone is harmful may damage the relationships.
We also never know about the families,if any, due loneliness are passing through the mental and emotional distress.
We need to identify such families and extend our support with observing all norms of social distancing as a need of hour.
We should also inquire about number of senior citizens living alone with us.We may assist provide and help in their daily needs such as medicine, groceries etc.Social distancing is the main worry for such people as they are more vulnerable to this virus and need our support.
To keep the flowers fresh and full of fragrances we need to water them regularly, let us put some efforts and achieve the freshness by refreshing our contacts, giving mental support to those who needed in this difficult period where it seems that we may have to gear up for LOCKDOWN 3.0 or may we have to adopt this lifestyle for long.
Let us remain strong and united to face any storm.
