Farewell to Maa Saraswati

We celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami and worshipped the goddes Saraswati with much fervor and gaiety.

The atmosphere was charged positively for the entire day and night but the time has come to bid a tearful farewell to Maa Saraswati.

A group of people and devotees were assembled to say Good bye to the goddess and apologized for  mistakes committed by us during her stay in our campus.
We also seek her continuing blessings for the residents of our society at large.

Saraswati Puja-Celebrated at our Shivalaya

SARASWATI PUJA
at Shivalaya of Royal Green Apartments
Shivalaya comes under the existence exactly one year ago prior to the Covid 19 pandemic.

This was long overdue for our condominium where more than 1000 persons are staying in 200 Flats.
Long back in year 2002 when a group of 20 to 30 families were shifted to this very place which was then in neo natal stage, residents struggled for each and every small things of their need and so the place of worship which is commonly known as Temple for the people of Sanatan sects.

Ironically no Sanatan typical temple was built in this area during the then project of DWARKA was known by PAPANKALAN PROJECT.
Even today every sects of society are lucky to get their place of worship eg Mosque,Gurudwara Church etc except a Hindu Temple and our wait of a Temple is still in continuation for last 21 years.

Later on the name was change now popularly known as Dwarka Sub City of State Delhi.

As on today dated February 16,2021,still people are waiting for a temple and we expect that this wait is not going to be end by the year 2030.

In between our families struggled for the place when the famous festival comes nearby that where to go?

It is our age old tradition to visit Temple for worship our deity in a Temple.

A group of people under the leadership of Mr Pramodara and his wife Mrs Mithlesh United namely Dr KK Kirty,SK Sharma,SK Chauhan,R Kapoor,Sanjay Kumar,Laxman Kumar,Dr Ratnesh and many more such as Mrs Bibha Thakur,Mrs Sharda Jha and Mrs Anil Jha to go for a construction of a place of worship inside our premise.

Later on we decided to use the Chabutra built 15 years ago by the then President RWA Mr OP Sharma in 2004-05 as the place of worship in an another terms as a TEMPLE.

This ends our long search of families moving out of campus on particular days of worship in search of temple in Dwarka.

We organise every evening as "evening prayer" between 6:45 to 7:30pm;Where a group of people come and join the prayer. We unitedly seek the blessings by the almighty for the well being of our society and it's dwellers.

If each of us unite and support,we will be in a position to built a better and beautiful place of worship which in real terms can be proclaimed as TEMPLE.

Later on we started organising all the Hindu Festivals as per the Hindu Calendar and in that continuity SARASWATI PUJA was celebrated yesterday dated 16/02/2021.

Few glimpses of the puja events are shared as under:-
After the Puja; Prasad was distributed to the participants and Bhandara was also organised.
The place is now maintained and organised by Shivalaya trust and all the messages and  details are available on whatsapp group ROYAL GREEN SHIVLAYA.
Whosoever would like to join the group may enroll through the link as under by paying a membership charge of ₹101/- one time.

Royal Green Apartments- A Flower Vase

Royal Green Apartments is like a flower vase which contain more than different set of 180 flowers. Each flower is unique in its color, shape and fragrance placed in a flower pot.

Set of these flowers emit their aroma with an unique fragrance in its atmosphere and we love this compare to any other place in the world.Where ever we go we get peace only when we are back to our FLOWER POT and/or our society.
Visualise the beauty of our campus as below:-

Imagine above as flying birds

Imagine as a map of India

Each flowers in this pot symbolises of a family who are though separately placed but in totality wore the same behaviour and characteristics.

In the event of crisis, they unite
to face any external threats jointly and recent pandemic covid-19 is no different and a live example of its habitants who exhibit an exemplary disciplines to remain locked in home in both phases of Lockdown 1 and Lockdown 2.

Compassion, gratitude and kindness are another characteristics of these set of flowers which they ensure to fulfill  the need of everyone who are attached with(eg maids, gardeners,Guards, sweepers and labourers).

In the recent event of deadly pandemic, they come forward thrice to donate for this cause to the poorest section of society.

More than 90% families are hiding themselves and staying in like a house arrest.
Visitors just looking at closed door
     Doors are closed for visitors

They are afraid of Corona carriers and looking at everyone with suspicion.Sometimes I found them avoiding to interact even on mobile that results in communication gap amongst many families who were once together prior to lockdown.

All we need to know and be careful about is depicted below:-

Work from home is a new ways of  attending offices and going to be a reality in days to come where most of the works are going to be  accomplished from home itself.

Meetings are held online using various apps like ZOOM,SKYPE,Google Duo and Whatsapp video call etc
Same technique of video chat may be used to connect families and friends who are feeling alone and insecure in LOCKDOWN.We must often use of this technique to be in touch with your relatives and friends which neither violet social distancing nor have any fear of Covid 19 carriers.

Observing precautions to protect themselves are must and necessary but being in suspicion with everyone is harmful may damage the relationships.

We also never know about the families,if any, due loneliness are passing through the mental and emotional distress.
We need to identify such families and extend our support with observing all norms of social distancing as a need of hour.

We should also inquire about number of senior citizens living alone with us.We may assist provide and help in their daily needs such as medicine, groceries etc.Social distancing is the main worry for such people as they are more vulnerable to this virus and need our support.

To keep the flowers fresh and full of fragrances we need to water them regularly, let us put some efforts and achieve the freshness by refreshing our contacts, giving mental support to those who needed in this difficult period where it seems that we may have to gear up for LOCKDOWN 3.0 or may we have to adopt this lifestyle for long.

Let us remain strong and united to face any storm.

Life in Lock Down

Covid-19 or Corona Virus is a global pandemic which was originated from Wuhan in china in the last weekend of November 2019.29L Corona +ve cases and over 2L deaths worldwide at present left us no choice but to remain at home in LOCKDOWN

Doctors and scientists are working day and night to find its medicine and/or vaccine but so far it is very early to say anything about its availability within months or so.

LOCKDOWN and SOCIAL DISTANCING are the only way to keep this virus away for the time being.

Initially it was weird to be at home for the day without any work, spent hours and hours together seating and sleeping in various different postures. After Few days of staying in home,we  found that it was no easy to pass time but soon we realises that this is a life time opportunity to spent valuable time in family.

Those working in offices are looking for their turn to come and curious to attend their offices.
Large number of Indians are stranded in foreign land and waiting to lockdown relaxed.Similarly migrant workers all around the metro cities in the country stuck up without job desperately wants to go back their respective states.

Life in lockdown has come for a change when:-

No visitors are visiting anyone's home,

Little or no interaction with people even in neighborhood as everyone see others in suspicion of Corona carriers,

People are spending maximum times online searching apps related to their need,

40 minutes walking on the track/road or workouts in Gim has been replaced by Yoga and various excercises which are being performed in room,
Life without maids for doing daily chores at home is not easy for houswives,
Video chatt is a new trend to meet near and dear online in virtual world,
Eating healthy home made foods are becoming more popular as restaurants are closed,
Walking on the streets/roads  without any work has come to a complete halt,

Online classes and training have been in trend now,

Face mask and social distancing seem part and parcel of life now onwards,
Driving is now a dream and cars are parked as if they have not been driven for couple of months.Going for a long drive is definitely a dream,
Taking a bite while driving, being on a call all the time and an instant coffee on the go have all suddenly come to an end.

Now we are happily settled at our home.No hurry, neither to earn nor to spend. Requirements of life reduced to get food 3  times a day.

No one is in hurry to go to their respective jobs, people are sleeping late at night and getting up late after 9am in morning. Usual timings of breakfast, lunch,Evening snacks and dinner have been changed by now with a delay of 2 to 3 hrs.As a result majority of our timings for going in bed shifted from 10pm to 12 in midnight.

Watching TV,spending time online ,reading books, online gaming and video chats are the new ways to pass time at home.

Life changed during this period of Lockdown and may be a new fashion trend with face mask will be seen very soon.

The visuals of mankind with face mask and social Distancing may be seen for decades to come in future.

Life may not be same as it was before COVID-19.
