NEW YEAR PARTY@₹300 per person

Since no one seems interested and RWA is unable to organize New Year Party due reason best known to them, few families are interested in joining party if arranged.

A party can be arranged but now no DJ as already very late.We can arrange food @₹300/- per person.
Music can be utilised from our own internal system placed in common hall.

It may please be noted that the function of Deepawali was successfully arranged in park but the park always need TENT which costs us ₹20 to ₹25,000/- that includes DJ increasing the cost per plate if not subsidised by RWA as is done since last decades.

Hence it was ₹500/- per person.

Now the party can be arranged in Common Hall without Tent and DJ,the cost per plate comes around ₹267/- hence contribution per plate works out to be ₹300/- that include the cost of COAL which is must as temperature is very low.

Anyone interested may contact the undersigned immediately by tonight and deposit the amount as usual at the Guardroom.

Full masti is Guaranteed.💃💃💃

Airframe Vibration and use of Vibration Reporting Sheet

Vibration reporting Sheet is a useful tool in the hand of Line maintenance engineers. This must be very handy and easily available with them as and when the snag is reported in outstation.

You can always ask captain in command after your preliminary investigation to fill up this reporting Sheet while in flight and request him to submit this after landing to Engineering Crew for detailed investigation and rectification.

C/O TSM TASK 05-50-00-810-050-C and it's corresponding TSM Task of Type 1 to Type 15 as per the DECISION TABLE

It is to be done in three steps:-
(1) VIBRATION REPORTING SHEET to be filled up by John Pilot
(2) Vibration reporting Sheet to be analysed by Engg crew and rectification to be done as per Decision Tree
(3)if the Vibration source is not identified by DECISION TREE; Go to Decision Table.

Follow the example as under and related TSM Task as above.
Based upon pilot reporting Sheet, use the decision tree and if it is not sufficient;go for DECISION TABLE as under.

Shade the entire area of each row as per observation by pilot in reporting Sheet.

Add columnwise the weightage value.Find out the maximum values in the final rows which corresponds to a particular task as per TSM.

Take the Corrective action for the  snag as per the Task in AMM.

29-13-00-810-801
Apart from other possible causes, leakage from union, packing and Hyd line puncture are common.Find out the reason and do the related troubleshooting.

Once this is done must find out and eliminate the causes of possible pump cavitation.

Do the following necessary steps:-

TASK 29-00-00-280-006-A01

NOTE:
A cavitation condition of the engine pump is possible:

When the engine pump operates with the engine pump fire valve closed (if you set the ENG 1 (2) FIRE P/BSW on the Eng/APU fire panel), or
‌When the engine pump operates with no fluid in the reservoir (ECAM HYD system page).

‌This procedure can also apply if there is a indication of particles (from a defective EDP) released in the system (e.g. indication found during troubleshooting or while examine pump low pressure or overheat).

NOTE:
Two procedures are included here to do a check after an engine pump operation for more than 10 minutes in a possible cavitation condition. Each procedure is applicable for a different set of conditions. Only do the procedure that is applicable for the conditions you find.

(1)
Do the subsequent procedure if the engine pump has operated for more than 10 minutes:
With a closed engine pump fire-valve, or
With no fluid in the reservoir (ECAM HYD system page) or RSVR LO LVL warning on the upper ECAM DU and unknown fluid level.
There are no time limits if:
The engine pump is set to OFF (ENG 1 (2) PUMP FAULT/OFF P/BSW on panel 40VU), with
The engine pump fire-valve open and there is fluid in the reservoir.

(a)Check filter DPI for extension of the hydraulic control unit of the thrust reverser,
HP filter,
case drain filter and
LP filter.
If DPI extended;Replace the filter element of the related unit.

(b)Replace the related engine pump.

Do the operational test of the related hydraulic system with Engine run.During the test, move the flight control surfaces to supply fluid flow for 10 mintes.

Do a check for DPIs extension, filter elements and filter bowls of the hydraulic control unit filter, HP filter, case drain filter and LP filter of the related system.

If you find a DPI extended or abnormal particles: Replace the filter element of the related unit.

(c)Replace the case-drain filter element

With an open engine pump fire-valve, and
With fluid in the reservoir (index above the minimum gageable level on the ECAM HYD system page) although the RSVR LO LVL warning on the upper ECAM DU.

(a)Do a check for particles:
In the filter bowl and the filter of the hydraulic control unit of the thrust reverser.
In the case-drain filter bowl and the filter of the related engine pump
In the HP filter bowl and the filter of the related system.

(b)If you find particles:
Do the steps (1) (a) thru (c) of this procedure.

(c)If you do not find particles:

Do the operational test of the related hydraulic system.

(2)During the test, slowly move one flight control surface at a time.
(3)Make sure that the system pressure is more than 2800 psi (193.1 bar) during the test.

(d)If the system pressure is less than 2800 psi (193.1 bar) during the test:
1Do the step 1 (a). through (c)

A Tribute to Nirbhaya

A tribute to Nirbhaya

Today the residents of Sector 19 and Sector 11 participated in a candle march as a mark of Tribute to Nirbhaya where she was brutally assassinated after rape by few male who are still in jail and parents and society  are waiting for justice since last 7 years.

16 December 2012,a black day in indian capital city where such accident with a young girl took place and wait for justice has gone for a spin unlike recent case of Hyderabad where,in fact, justice delivered by police in an encounter when the accused tried to fled away from the site and became violent to the police itself.

Parents of Nirbhaya, requested the families present to lit a lamps in memory of Nirbhaya till the justice is delivered, that we must educate our children to give due regard to the female child and treat them equal.Must unite to fight such crime against female with their wet eyes and said that he has boycotted the general election as nothing was done by present or then govt to enact a bill to protect women.

People present to lit the candle in her memory till the justice delivered also observed 2 minutes silence for peace to the departed soul.

Special thanks goes to Ms Gomti, General Secretary, Akshardham,S and Pramod Kumar of Sector 11,Pocket-3,Dwarka,New Delhi for arranging the above Candle March.Mr Vashisth and Ms Gomti of Sector 19 requested the people present in the candle march that we should continue lit the candle eveymonth till we get the justice.

Excess Billing of WATER BILL

Water Bill excess billing

For last 3 to 4 months we observed that suddenly our water bill rises many folds from ₹. Nil per months toto ₹1050 to ₹1500/-

We suddenly realised that our water bill is exceeding electricity charges.

There could be Two possible causes:-
(1) Water usage increases more than 20K litters a month which is beyond exemption or
(2)Water meters are running fast.

In the first case of more consumption, reduce the water wastages due overflowing and if no overflow then reduce consumption.

Secondly,For fast meters,we have to send our Water Meter to DJB for Lab test.

Lab test charges  are ₹150/- per meter and to be paid at cash counter in Dwarka DJB office Sector-5

For this we have to pay the current bill of DJB.Application for testing the Water meter is to be submitted alongwith the current bill and Lab test Fee.

Once it is submitted,DJB Takes 7 working days to collect W/Meter and its Lab test.

If the test result is between 3 to 5% then it's ok; beyond that your bill will be refunded/adjusted.

So if residents want that this issue is to be taken up jointly then submit the copies of bill, application and Lab test fee at GUARD ROOM so that we can request DJB to take up this issue.

Eight Tips to SECURE OUR SOCIETY

Few guidelines towards safety and security of our society as per my opinion are as under:-

(1) Each and every flat must spare one person every night between 00:30 hrs to 5 am for patrolling alongwith Guards.Hence only 2 days per person needed in a year that can be spent for our own safety.

(2) Each stairs must install at least one CCTV at entry of stairs. This will be for internal theft deterrent.

(3)Each flat must have a dedicated line for INTERCOM facilities,

(4) All the service providers and contractors(Amrender,Dubey and Pappu) will be asked to vacate campus facilities if they are utilising after a cut off date.Next whenever any residents recall them for any work of renovation, they will be allowed with proper verifications of their men and tools.Or
Residents have to support for renovation contractors as only registered contractors with RWA will be allowed.
Each contractors has to pay renewal fee with RWA ;the basic idea is that no new labours will be allowed inside.

(5)Close all the roof top Doors.

(6) Close all the open garages either by installing door or one time by brick wall so that their must not be any hideout place left in campus.

(7) No car without stickers will be allowed inside vis a vis visitor"s car will be parked out,

(8)As many as 33 Maids are working in our premise,no new maid will be registerd.

We are assured that these steps will have enough deterrent/resistance against any future theft.
If any one wants to have comments, please do as you are most welcome for benefit of our society.

With regards,

PAYTM and/or Digital payment fraud

PAYTM and/or Digital payment fraud

This is very important for all of us to know that very recently a large number of people are becoming the prey of cyber crime.PAYTM is being easily targetted in the name of lapsed KYC.First of all they hack your Paytm by blocking payment then they are calling to update your KYC.Once you respond then they clone your mobile manipulating you to download some app and then asking you to Click ALLOW button.
So simple THREE STEPS:-

DON'T RESPOND
DOWNLOAD &
ALLOW

Many people have lost their money from account by receiving and following the caller instructions.

This is a wide-spread fraud when an individual responds immediately without giving a single thaught that what is he doing in a hypnotic way.

Here are five simple tips to get rid off such fraud callers:-

(1) As soon as you get a call from any telemarketier, you try to respond thinking it may be an important call for you.

Do resopond but always ask who is the caller and what for he is calling you.Ask him to call later on as you are busy. Never be in a hurry and start answering the caller then and there. This way you can buy the time and will be in better position to analyse.

Always ask him/her to contact you after 6pm as you will get free time after your busy schedule by 6pm.
This way,you are in a position to avert 90% chances of being in trap of a fraud caller,

(2) Whatever the problem you face , always contact your service provider's official call center,

(3) Any time during the process of transaction you find something fussy instruct your bank to stop payment or cancel your Credit/debit card,

(4) NEVER EVER download any app asked by your caller ; &CLICK ALLOW button as asked by the app.The moment "allow" button is clicked, the caller will have access to your mobile.

Many such apps are effectively used to clone your mobile window and the caller will get the access of your mobile data which is fair enough to get away money from your account,

(5)NOt even a single bank ask your details on call; hence you get alerted if someone asking your card/CVV/Account details etc.

Hope this may be of your use.

November SNA(C)GS- A QUICK REVIEW

November 2019-A Quick review

10 BIRD HITS,02 HARD LANDINGS AND 14 FUEL FILTERs replacement due Filter Clog warning were, in fact, need improved maintenance especially when we talk about Fuel Filters.

Airlines spent millions of dollar to service and retrieve the aircraft after the No Go Snag or the Bird Hits which are beyond our control but still we can file the case against Airport Authorities where incident of Bird Hits is a frequent phenomenon eg we encountered Bird Hit at VGA at 3 occasions in night time.

Fuel Filter Clog warning is another issue which forced us placement of Filters at many stations just to minimise the grounding time but it is not the remedy. The remedial action is yet to be initiated from the respective bases of Air Bus fleet.

Inspite of repititive instructions & QC circulars; recurring of CLoG related warnings, delays and subsequent filter replacement are self explanatory that water/Fuel sampling is not being done meticulously.

Above three snags reduced our production at least by 7% and we never meet our projected target of production this month and always short by 4 or 5 aircrafts(ie 93% of production target).

We can certainly improve by minimising our Groundings at this TWO Accounts:-

HARD LANDING and
FUEL FILTER CLOG WARNING
BIRD HITS not in our control but certainly we have to raise the concern at an appropriate forum and project the losses at this account.Airport authority may be made accountable for not meeting the Airport standard by minimising birds flying over the airport.

Fuel filter related snag must be kept at minimum by taking time bound initiative that involves a proactive role of Shift Incharges and Foremen.

The third and very important aspects to improve the health of our fleet by identifying the snags based on CLIMATE CHANGE
(Weather bound snag on our fleet eg snag of pack & bleed increases with rising temperatures in Northern India whereas no facilities are available at SXR to retrieve our aircraft when held up in snow at winter inspite of 2 to 3 Groundings at this occasions at SXR since two years).

Hence placement of spares at all our maintenance bases after identifying their roles in type of snags keep appearing based on climate change will definitely help in improving the fleet performance.

The last but most importantly is reducing the MEL related C/F snag.
This can be minimised by placing the spares at first available opportunities at base by routing the aircraft there immediately once any snag is reported anywhere at our network.

C/F must be controlled through one center and may be proposed to effectively done by MCC as it is done worldwide Airliners.

The synopsis of November snags are still awaiting see you soon guys.

Inspection after Bird strike
05-51-14-200-803-A

BIRD HIT Is totally unpredictable, required unscheduled maintenance and incur huge loss to company and the industry.

As many as 8 such Bird hits were reported as of date causing cancellation, disruptions and  movement of men and materials to domestic as well as international stations.é

L/M engineers who are under extreme pressure other than main maintenance base during this period; his  own decisions matter and he can save million of rupees if the decision of Groundings and/or not Groundings are taken quickly.Delayed decision results in Crew DTL, inconvenience to our passengers.Hereunder there are few guidelines which can be referred for quick decisions though always follow applicable AMM/TSM.

Inspections are decided into three steps:-

(1)-Walk around inspection.Must follow the specific path as per the AMM.This is to find signs of Bird strike and/or damage.(refer inspection task as above).

(2)-Cleaning of the Bird sign and

(3)-Inspection areas with detected impacts.

Also must get the information from the crew about the flight conditions like engine behaviour,Smell in Air conditioning outlets, Navigation and radio system behaviour,A/C configuration and Flight Phase at the time when the impact occurred.
Check the related PFR,
If the pilot reports of Engine Stall,Engine parameter change/exceeded or smells in air-conditioned outlet then do the related steps 4.W of the inspection as per AMM
If you do not find the signs of Bird strike or damage during the first step, the aircraft can back into operation.
Inspection of the engine after a Bird strike or slush ingestion
05-51-19-200-001-A

C/O this inspection in conjunction with Inspection 72-00-00-200-006-A
If during walk around inspection no damage OBSD as per AMM and engine parameters normal;

The BSI may be delayed for 25 FH or 10 Flight cycles.

Any abnormalities OBSD;refer AMM limits, repair as per AMM &
,do the BSI before next flight.

REPLACEMENT OF FUEL NOZZLES AFFECTED BY COKING(SB LEAP 1A 73-00-0040-01A-930AD)

Note:-Just for information to Line Engineers.Refer applicable AMM

Objective of this SB is to minimise IFSD,TOA,ATB OR DIVERSIONS due  coking in the Pilot Secondary circuit and the valves of the affected fuel nozzles.

Coking increases with accumulated cycles/hours that result in HOT STREAKS and related engine events as above.

The SB was issued on 07/11/2019 and to be complied on LEAP 1A engines within 60 days of issuance of this SB.

CFM recommends to do the SB every 2000 cycles since the last Fuel Nozzles Replacement or 2000 CSN for new EIS(Entry into service)  LEAP 1A engines.

This SB will need approximately 60 man-hours to do the necessary removal and installation of affected fuel nozzles of the engine.

Fuel Nozzles (SIN) P/N 6120066E02
Or
6120066E03

Remove the 19 Fuel Nozzles as per AMM TASK 73-11--30-000-802-A

AIR BLEED IN MAINTENANCE

AIR BLEED in Maintenance without ECAM status CFDS fault msg.
TSM 36-00-00-810-802-A

Air Bleed in maintenance is a common msg of our cockpit and very irritating to LM Engineers; especially when some fussy pilot force to remove the warning or asking to make us DMR entry just prior to departure.

One can easily find 6 to 8 snags as above C/F under MEL everyday.

Here is few tips/Guidelines from AMM which can be followed to cancel the msg and minimise the snags on fleet:-

Open CB 2ww and 3ww(FWC1&2) for 5 to 10 sec to cancel the Air bleed maintenance msg then close the CBs.

It is to be noted that 2 minutes are necessary for full initialisation of FWC.Further to this,BMC reset will not cancel the Air bleed msg on ECAM status page.

(A)AIR BLEED STATUS MSG come into view after power transfer
it will go after the first subsequent Engine Start. This will not come after engine shut down.

(B)AIR BLEED STATUS MSG AFTER ENGINE S/D
The msg is applicable as it appears after Engine shut Down in the PFR and an ECAM warning with related CFDS message.

To erase the Air Bleed msg,the only condition is to start the FWC flight phase 1,After Engine S/D the a/c will be in Flight Phase 10.300 seconds later the start of flight phase 1 should reset the Air Bleed msg.
