Potable Water Disinfection and discard the filter elements

Procedure by the use of Hydrogen peroxide H2O2

38-10-00-670-004-A

Sequence to be followed as under:-

Hot water flushing then Disinfection and again Hot water flushing to be done.

Replacement of the Galley water Filter elements.

Refer AMM 38-12-23-920-802-A

Before replacing the filter,Close the potable water shut off Valve,in the galley release the remaining water.

FIN 6475MM & 6483MM

Filter P/N- Check it's applicability.

Replace the applicable Filter along with its Gasket then carry out the leak check.

For zone/ location of the Filter,refer applicable AMM.

Leak is not permitted.

ENGINE WATER WASH

Engine Water Wash

Water wash procedure (Menu mode) Non detergent 

Follow these steps and refer AMM:-

AMM TASK 72-00-00-740-801-A

Open the CBs at 49VU A01/A02for Eng 1 /Eng 2

Prepare the Engine for Washing as follows:-

(1) Disconnect PS3 and P3B line and put the covers on PS3,P3B and open ports of Pr sub system box

(2) Install the Wash Tool

(3)On 25 VU,ensure that ON legend of Anti ICE  /ENG 1(2) PB IS OFF

(4)Make Sure that OFF legend on Engine 1(2) bleed sw is on

(5)Pack1/Pack2 PB switches are OFF

Two persons are required to do this job,

(6)Record the initial TDS of wash supply Water,

(7) Select the water wash procedure Menu mode iaw AMM 72-00-00-740-801

(8) After 10 sec of motoring with a positive can rotation,inject the water on the LPC through the fan blades and stop the water injection before the end of the engine motoring,

(9) During the engine coast down,collect the sample of water wash that drains from the exhaust area of the engine,

(10)Measure and make the record of TDS

Subtract the initial TDS  value from the TDS of rinse sample and if the net TDS is less than 150ppm additional rinse cycle is not required otherwise go for additional rinse until the net TDS is less than or equal to 150ppm.

Maintain a soaking period of 10 to 15minutes between the cycles.

A maximum of 4 cycles are permitted.

(11) Installation of the Disconnected lines

Blow the PS3 and P3B line by the compressed air.Pr should be between 100 to 200 psi only.

Connect the PS3&P3B line to the pr sub system box and remove the wash tool.

(12) Post Engine water Wash:-

Ensure that PACK1 & PACK2 are OFF,

X bleed valve OPEN

ENG 1 (2) Bleed PB sw is released,

CAB FANS PB SW is set OFF

Start the Engine,

After the engine start,put the APU Bleed PB sw to the OFF position,

Let the engine run idle for 5 minutes,

Press the ANTI ICE/ENG PB to operate the ENG anti ice system,after 30 sec put the anti ice pb to OFF.

Press the ENG 1(2) Bleed PB sw to ON

Press the ANTI ICE /wing ON to operate WAI,

WAI  valves will automatically close after 30 sec however legends remain illuminated until the sw is deselected.

Once WAI is closed, let the engine run for 5 minutes.

WAI is pressed ON once again and the process is repeated.

Run the engine for 5 minutes.

Turn the cross Bleed Valve to auto,press PACK1/PACK2 ON,run the engine for 5 minutes.if you smell the odor in the cabin, operate the engine until the odor remains.

Shut down the engine.

Release the Aircraft.
