SEVEN SKY CLARKS EXOTICA,BHUJ-A REVIEW

I recently had the opportunity to long stay at Hotel Seven Sky Clarks Exotica, Bhuj, and my stay was a very pleasant and comfortable.

The property offers a good combination of location, spacious premises, comfortable

accommodation, dining facilities though it has minimal leisure amenities. This also offer Jim and Spa.

Location

The hotel enjoys an excellent location on Seven Sky Ring Road, with convenient access to Bhuj Airport, the railway station and the major attractions of Bhuj. The airport is approximately 4 km away, while places such as Aina Mahal, Kutch Museum, Bhuj Chattardi and Darbargadh.
Smirtivan is also within easy reach and 14km away from the Hotel.

The biggest attraction of Seven Sky is its large, spacious and beautifully designed premises. The property has an impressive architectural character and plenty of open space, giving it more of a resort-like feel rather than that of a conventional city hotel.
Recepfion
The hotel gives a shopping opportunity of Crona,Max,Trends,DIY,D Mart and couple of food joints

added with an entertainment of NY Cinema Hall. Now it is named as DEVGAN; situated in the same premise; is the biggest advantage

of guests to have many opportunities to hang around.

Rooms

The rooms are generally spacious, comfortable and well furnished, with different categories available to suit different requirements. The property also offers suites and family accommodation.

With better attention to periodic maintenance and housekeeping, the rooms could provide an even better experience.l

However, maintenance and housekeeping appear to be somewhat inconsistent and have some issues of bathroom fittings, neatness and cleanliness of the room.Though it is manageable with repeat call to housekeeping.
Most of the staffs are inexperienced and frequent resignation is a problematic area and concerns for the hotel management
Cottages/Villas

Pool side is not maintained and villas are vacant during my period of stay. They are undergoing maintenance to cater the loads of peak periods from November to February.

Restaurants & Food
The dining experience in its restaurant "The Bridge"is one of the stronger aspects of the hotel. The restaurant is spacious and offers a good variety of food, with breakfast and dinner buffets.
The food quality, taste and presentation have been appreciable however it has scope of further improvements, and the restaurant staffs are generally described as courteous and helpful.

The Gujarati thali is also worth of taste @299/-

Overall, the restaurant provides a pleasant dining atmosphere and is a definite plus point of the property.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is one of the property's major recreational attractions. It is large and visually impressive, adding considerably to the resort-like character of Seven Sky.

The pool area provides a pleasant place to relax, particularly for families and leisure travellers.

It has Fitness and Spa Center too and one can make use of these facilities during one's stay over here.

Overall ratings (8/10)
Hotel Seven Sky is a good choice for a stay in Bhuj, particularly for travellers looking for a spacious property with a resort-like atmosphere. Its location, architecture, open premises, food, swimming pool and choice of villas make it stand out among the accommodation options in Bhuj.

The hotel could further improve the guest experience by giving greater attention to room maintenance, housekeeping and service consistency.

However I approve and rate this Hotel the scale of 10 as 8.

Hence my rating to the Hotel is 8/10.

A TRIP TO LANDSDOWNE

A sudden plan of ours always works and so was the plan to visit Lansdowne; a Hill station in Northern part of India which is 270 Km from Delhi.

This will take nearly 6.5 to 8hrs to drive to the place based upon the reservation sites during your vacation.

KOTDWAR,a small town in plane under PAURI GADHWAL DISTT is a town at the foot hill from where the drive to Lansdowne will begin that is situated at a height of 1850 meters from sealevel.

City is a cantonment area of our Indian Army which was an cantonment too during British rule. Many of our soldiers then in 1936 participated in Worldwar on European land then during Germany,France etc. Here, one can not find any good hotel in the centere of Lansdowne.
Mall road of Lansdowne is unlike Mussori and is a small market catering for only local needs.

We drove down to Lansedown Vacation Hotel

which is 6.4 km right of Lansedowne city center that is War memorial.

These are the places to visit in Lansedowne:-
St John Church,
St Marry church,
Bhulle Taal,
War Memorial,
Tip N Top and
Tarkeshawar Temple

Driving to Hotel from Kotdwar was an adventurous for me and we reached there by 9pm as we started late from Delhi.

War memorial was a must visit once you are in Lansedowne and next is Tarkeshwar Temple which is approximately 35km from Lansedowne chowk. It is better to visit early by 7am as there is an Aarti and you finish it up before the large number of devotees flocked in.

Food:-Once you are on a vaccation, you also need a fresh, healthy and a tasty food. This is the best place,we recommend to visit once if you are in Lansedowne. We got a fresh and tasty food at its restaurant.
One can see the scenic view from the window of Hotel and a picture depicting the rising moon behind the apex of Hill top is here under.
