Net Neutrality in India
Raise your voice against "Net Neutrality".
It is very important to give your suggestion to TRAI on or
before April 24,2015 else we may not be enjoying the freedom of surfing of
internet sites what we get it today, once the rule is framed (under the
influence of strong lobby of our service provider like Airtel,Aircel,Vodafone
etc)by May 9,2015.
Net Neutrality is the freedom where
once our internet data is activated we are in a position to surf any sites with
equal speed irrespective of which service provider is our operator.
Many countries like CHILLI,NETHERLAND
& BRAZIL have already made a rule against Net Neutrality.
After the new rule in
existence by May 9, we will land up in a place where situation will be similar
like buying packages of TV channels on Dish TV operators like Tata Sky or
Airtel where each packs(consisting of a set of specific TV channels) has
different rental.
Once "Net
Neutrality" is removed each operator will market it like a pack with
different sets of Mobile Apps or internet sites and few widely used apps will
be charged separately (eg Skype,Viber, Whatsapp, Google,Flip chart and Snapdeal
etc )and have to sell out additional money for surfing them. The freedom of
surfing sites and its speed will be regulated by operator unlike today where
individual is free to surf any sites of its own choice with an equal data
speed( In India avg data speed is 2Mbps approx half of world average data of
4.2Mbps).
Today we are free to surf
any site or in a position to use any app. This freedom is Net Neutrality and we
must not loose it under the pressure of Operator's nexus.
Join this movement (along
with 4.2 lakh users by today) by logging to the site
Follow the instruction as
directed by TRAI and log your view why you dislike the proposal of shifting
from today's freedom of surfing internet which is widely known as "Net
Neutrality".
