A TRIP TO LANDSDOWNE

A sudden plan of ours always works and so was the plan to visit Lansdowne; a Hill station in Northern part of India which is 270 Km from Delhi.

This will take nearly 6.5 to 8hrs to drive to the place based upon the reservation sites during your vacation.

KOTDWAR,a small town in plane under PAURI GADHWAL DISTT is a town at the foot hill from where the drive to Lansdowne will begin that is situated at a height of 1850 meters from sealevel.

City is a cantonment area of our Indian Army which was an cantonment too during British rule.Many of our soldiers then in 1936 participated in Worldwar on European land then during Germany,France etc.Here,one can not find any good hotel in the centere of Lansdowne.
Mall road of Lansdowne is unlike Mussori and is a small market catering for only local needs.

We drove down to Lansedown Vacation Hotel

which is 6.4 km right of Lansedowne city center that is War memorial.

Tarkeshawar Temple

Driving to Hotel from Kotdwar was an adventurous for me and we reached there by 9pm as we started late from Delhi.

War memorial was a must visit once you are in Lansedowne and next is Tarkeshwar Temple which is approximately 35km from Lansedowne chowk.It is better to visit early by 7am as there is an Aarti and you finish it up before the large number of devotees flocked in.

Food:-Once you are on a vaccation,you also need a fresh,healthy and a tasty food.This is the best place,we recommend to visit once if you are in Lansedowne.We got a fresh and tasty food at its restaurant.

MCD PROPERTY TAX 2022-23 Dear all, File your Property Tax by following few simple steps to get the rebate of 15%. Step 1- Go to MCDONLINE.NIC.IN and you will get this page as below Now select SDMC and click on the second line "Pay property Tax".

You will be popped up with log in page for registered user.You get log in through your mobile No. is STEP 2.

Whereby you will get a six digit OTP.Put this OTP in its window and you will find this page below your property page as shown above. This will show your property and Action button in the extreme right row.

You will be popped up with and you will get this notification which required to be change your Address line as DWARKA SECTOR -11 instead DWARKA and next window will change automatically from MATIALA to DWARKA-BSTEP 4 Click thd Action Button and you will be take to this page below

Once the above is selected Go to next button where you will be directed to payment mode and select any one out of three payment Gateway as below eg AXIS BANK OR ICICI and accordingly you can select Card Payment,Net banking or UPI. Say it is selected as card payment then you will find the window like this

Fill up your card details as asked and do the required payment. Successful transaction code will be generated and you can also download pdf receipt as below

From the very first window's Action button we can get our previous payment details of 14 years ie from 2008-09 to current successful pahment made as of date(2022-23). Mahashivratri Puja at Royal Green Apartments, Dwarka,New Delhi

Family members of our condominium assembled at Shivalaya of our society namely Royal Green Apartments 

to celebrate महाशिवरात्रि पूजा at 5:30pm onwards. 

Large number of members including childreen joined the pooja.

Pooja ended with Aarti of lord Shiv and Hanuman ji by 8pm alongwith PRASAD distributions.

Such festivals are regularly being celebrated at Shivalaya of our society alongwith prayer held daily by 7:30pm.
