ENGINE VIBRATIONS

FAN AND CORE VIBRATION

FAN VIBRATIONS(4.2 to 8 units)
A.Less than 4 units with Noise or Rumble,
Task Task 77-00-00-810-862-A

B.Greater than or equal to 4 units or Less than 6 units
TSM77-00-00-810-863-A

C.greater than or equal to 6 units TSM 77-00-00-864-A

D.For greater than  8 UNITS.Check LPTACC MANIFOLD and if snag still persists replace

LPTACC Manifold within 5 cycles.

CORE VIBRATIONS
(A.)For greater than or equal to 4.2 units or Less than 5.4 units.
TSM 77-00-00-810-865-A
(B.)For greater than 5.5 units
TSM 77-00-00-810-866-A
(1)The above VIBRATIONS are reported in conjunction with Airframe vibration reported by crew,Or
(2)Only on LECAM without Airframe Vibration momentarily for less than 1 minute Or,
(3)On LECAM without Airframe Vibration but repititive in nature.
If it is reported as in para 2,No maintenance action is required for the revenue flight to be in continuation but maintenance action is planned as per next available opportunities.
Rest in other two occasions, inspection as per relevant TSM Task is done.

Fan Vibration above 8 units,LPTACC Manifold to be checked or replaced as per TSM requirements.
CORE VIBRATIONS (4.2 TO 5.4 )units.
Similar to the case of Fan VIBRATIONS,if it is reported momentarily without crew notices of Airframe Vibration,
NO MAINTENANCE ACTION is required.
If the VIBRATIONS level is associated with HIGH SPEED(Max Cont.,Climb and Takeoff), Suspected HPT Failure, Maintenance action as per TSM is planned within 25 cycles.
But if the core VIBRATIONS associated with LOW SPEED,this is due suspected HPC failure and in this case CFM to be contacted for defining it's cycle of maintenance.
Maintenance action to be done as per applicable TSM Task.

Maintenance action is done as per applicable TSM;refer as above.

For Fan VIBRATIONS above 6units,refer flow chart for action to be performed for rectification.
Mechanical Advisory report 7 Code 4310 or Code 4320 will trigger.
NOTE:-THIS IS JUST FOR INFORMATION, ALWAYS REFER APPLICABLE TSM OR AMM

REGARDS,
